Please enjoy a few FREE TIPS as a thank you for coming to TubeSystemTraining.com.
Tip # 1
Knockout Ports was created/approved/installed by another gentleman and myself. This allows the person to shoot the Carrier out of the system without having to tear into a TU/pipe every time you needed to get a stuck tube out, as long as you can get the Carrier near the zero out TU, you can ALWAYS use the Knockout Port, you are NOT limited to being close to the Zero Out TU, But it helps having the blower close. These can be used anywhere, I currently have TWO on a Shuttle zone that we have, this allows me to knockout a carrier 850’+ away from the Blower. NO Testing time was needed, these are just attached to TU’s and the Port is labeled and designated solely for the knockout pipe. Tip # 2
Carrier Breeches was created and designed by two other gentleman prior to me along with the assistance of a piper from Swisslog, As the new tube system monitor, I was solely in the approval and initiation of these devices. This device was created to allow us to place a Carrier in any zone (Without using a TU), back behind the vacuum side, this allowing us to confidently clear the complete pipe of a stuck carrier and particles behind the zero out transfer that doesn’t make it to the screen Box. Once the cap is removed and the carrier placed, it knocks out everything that would ever be trapped inside the pipe. Trial period of testing 6 months three zones, Tests passed, All zones now have them since 2006.
